The Second Amendment Problem

I am a fellow American and believe in my rights and you should too. We are in danger of partially losing one of our rights/amendments which is the right to bear arms. What I mean for partially losing it is that the restrictions on bearing arms will be maximized. I am a Biden Supporter but am disappointed to say that he may not help us with keeping our right. An article that I read that was called The Federalist Society said “the liberty to carry firearms outside the home for self-defense or other lawful purposes.” This Quote gives you an inference on how the second amendment is important.

The second amendment is valid because individuals need to protect themselves with guns. Saying no to the second amendment is saying to the people in bad parts of Detroit who get their houses broken into all the time that they can't defend themselves. Those people, and many others who live in rough areas prone to break-ins and violent crimes are the people who are mainly affected by this.

I believe in gun control, but I don’t agree with a lot of restrictions on the right to bear arms. Now, I am not saying it doesn't need any restriction because it definitely does, I'm saying the right to own and access firearms shouldn't all be taken away from the general American population.

Since Biden won, I am sad to say that this right may be revoked. But that doesn't mean we can't fight it and take it right back. However there should be regulations for guns so we can reduce the amount of mass shootings. We can do this by using more detailed background checks. In conclusion, we should have guns and we should fight for our rights.
